COVER LETTER

Hello, my name is Lissa Gray and I would like to inquire about a job at Starbucks Coffee.  I saw your want for employees posted outside of your Campo and Bonita location, and I would love to be a part of your establishment. I have heard terrific things about your company which lead me to believe that I would be the perfect candidate for you. I have experience working in food service, particularly as a barista, and I have a very personable and bubbly attitude toward customers.

Starbucks is a strenuous job with rushes around the clock and strings of demanding customers. Luckily, coming from another Cafe job, I am officially prepared for anything that comes my way. Making drinks during rush hour can be stressful, but I enjoy the motivation and adrenaline rush of working at rapid speeds. I take direction well, and I am a very quick learner. At my last job, I was employed for two months before my supervisor asked me to train some newcomers. I work quickly and efficiently, and I always own up to my mistakes. I do my best to fix any problem that comes my way, even if I am not directly responsible. My aim is to make the workplace as stress-free as possible, so if I need to intervene in a problem in order to help a coworker, that is exactly what I would do. If you hire me to work at Starbucks, I will be sure to do any task given to me with a positive attitude. I will never complain about a hard task, and I will always give customers the best service possible. I will make your Starbucks location a joy to be in, and I will always spread positivity to my coworkers.

I will call you immediately if anything changes. You can expect a follow-up call from me this Friday at 12:30 PM. If you decide to hire me, I would love to schedule an interview with you. I am available on most weekends from 9 AM until 5 PM. Any time in between would be perfect. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,

Lissa Gray
